We rush through an
infinite loop of days
in vigorous pursuit
of status quo,
ignoring the peace
of blank spaces.

ReplyDeleteThe figure eight does propel us in endless circles "ignoring the peace of blank spaces." Eights contain more blank space than identifying lines when you consider their shape. Thank you for sharing this wisdom and great poetry, Mary. =D
