You
push me
away,
then entice me to
pull you
back.
Again and again and again.
This is the game
we play.
And now
I am ready
for something new.
Yet I fear,
when I finally
push you
away,
you may not care to
pull me
back
to you.
For G-man and his FF-55. And in keeping with the theme, just for fun here is a Brilliant youtube Doctor/River song. Enjoy!

Push and pull that of that of course life is full
ReplyDeleteYes, it certainly is.
DeleteThis is so cute. It could be a dance. Or just the day-to-day dance of love.
ReplyDeleteI just sent you an e-mail with a photo my husband took earlier this week. Just then, he phoned, so I told him what I'd sent you and he laughed. I hope you like it. I also hope it doesn't go into your junk mail, there to be lost forevermore.

ReplyDeleteOh, yes in the same direction would be very good! :o)
DeleteHow cute. Sometimes we push when we mean to pull. Or push and wait, and wait, and wait...
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, Mary!
Oh, yes Yvonne! I hope you have a good weekend.
DeleteMary Bach...

Have a Kick Ass Week-End
Awww - Thanks Galen. Have a good weekend yourself. :o)
DeleteThis reminds me of Dr. Doolittle. But the subject matter is serious, really, because there is a push/pull that goes on in all relationships. And part of the allure of pushing is knowing you'll be pulled right back. If not...then it becomes something completely different and sad. A thought-provoking 55, Mary. Can you tell I loved it? :)
ReplyDeletesmiles....def nice to always have that fall back reassurance...but sometimes what we must do...is take the greatest risk and know we will be ok...smiles.
ReplyDeleteRight Brian.
DeleteSo very true! A profound and thought-provoking write!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary.
DeleteI've played this game before--it sucks...you into it, an addictive game--but sometimes life is actually better as a game. ;_) I LOVE the you tube!
