Here I sit at the end of the world
with my bags packed and hair neatly curled
I’m expecting the Doc’s
great, big, shiny, blue box
with its red carpet neatly unfurled.
Plan B: "Go to
the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of
this to blow over." –Shaun of the Dead
This is just a little fun for G-man's FF55. Go there to check out more 55's of wit and wisdom, and maybe even add your own.

ReplyDeleteOk, meet you there! Hope you have a good Christmas Mary.
ReplyDeleteYou dig Brit culture, eh? Doctor Who and Shaun of the Dead... I love the latter. Apocalypse is coming but not in the Biblical sense
ReplyDeleteHi Luke - I do, lol. And yes, I read your piece on that. It's quite good; chilling. Thanks for stopping in.
DeleteLimericks can become a way of life. This is a good one. I love the way you avoided the problem of finding a rhyme for "tardis"
ReplyDeleteNow am I talking to myself? "Great, big, shiny blue box" sounds like it's somebody's birthday.
DeleteHahaha - Doctor, I have no idea what you're talking about... *looks away and begins to whistle*
DeletePlan B sounds good to me most times :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the surprised visit! :)
Plan B it is then! And like I said earlier, the first drink is on me. :o)
ReplyDeleteLOVE this. I am on the beginning of season 7 and THEN I have this year's Christmas special to watch (we taped it) I am SO SO SO addicted - and "Dr. Who" just keeps coming up in my daily conversations. Thank goodness my kids are as bad as I am :) I even bought the "Van Gogh" poster for my daughter for Christmas... and a bad little voice kept saying "keep it for yourself" I didn't :)
ReplyDeleteOh Margaret I love that your and your kids are Whovians! Hahaha, brilliant!
