On the Integrity of Systems

     Image: www.livescience.com

Is truth, like time, relative?
Does it bend to accommodate
weightier objects?

And does a promise make a sound
when it breaks in a forest
if no one is there to hear the pieces fall?

What makes up honor?
Does it exist in a multiplicity
of forms and dimensions?

Can love survive in a vacuum?

This is for FF55, where the G-man challenges us to write something in exactly 55 words.  Check it out.

  2. Where do these literary metaphores come from Mary Bach?
    Your Brain, or Budweiser?
This thought process is so deep that I couldn't extract it from my simple mind with a Hughes Drill Bit!
    You are just so amazing!
    Loved your philosophical 55
Thanks for playing, thanks for this GREAT contribution, and have a Kick Ass Week-End

  9. The first stanza made me think of "Dr. Who". BTW, WHEN will the season begin again!? (and loved your poem you left on G-Man's post - Yes, she probably needs him to write her whole paper for her, and he probably will :)

    1. Thank you Margaret, the Doctor popped into my mind too, lol! Glad you liked the 55 comment I left too. I thought the new season starts the end of March, but not sure. Definitely not soon enough though!
