You know all
my secret places.
I look on,
absurd and vulnerable,
as you go through my drawers,
taking out
bits of finery,
examining all my secrets,
holding them up to the light,
caressing my flaws.
With your terrible mercy
I am healed.

Terrible mercy indeed...nice write...
ReplyDelete"Caressing my flaws" - this line said so many things to me. It made me think of pity love. Maybe that's just my state of mind I'm in. "With your terrible mercy I am healed" <- wow, what a line. What a strong way to end this. It really wraps everything up with a punch. Love it
