Gestalt Man

Image from gestaltproject.com

His eyes are filled with far away -
with wind and clouds and scorching sun.

His lips can spit a curse to kill
or kiss away nightmares.

His hands have touched fire
and death and life too;
still they are so tender.

His voice is music
in a minor key
that I could listen to for years.

Written for G-man's FF55.

  4. what is gman doing with his weltonschauung?

i like, mary...the rather yin yang of the verses, each holding the power life/death...kiss/kill...the last bit on the song you could listen to for hours...smiles...i like that...

  5. Mary, Is this 55? It feels like so much more. From the opening line, which I love btw, to the ending stanza, this is dreamy in a wide-awake way!

  6. Don't touch a word - it's wonderful! And you'll laugh, but I was thinking of those beer commercials for Dos Equis "the most interesting man in the world". He now has a rival! :)

  8. Yes there is so much pull in opposite directions
till it settles down in quiet at the end

Why does minor key music seems so much more profound?

    1. I think gestalt is scary because it's so German-sounding. Thanks!
