Night Vision

Do you remember
the secret language
of trees?
They sing to me
as I gather stars
high above the moon.

So send me your kisses
by carrier pigeon,
then step away from the window;
for I can only fly
when no one is looking.

  20. Enjoyed your lovely poem. Concise and so relatable to me: the trees and only being about to soar when nobody's looking. Works so well with the artwork too; wonderful - did you paint it?
