Magpie Tales #49

This time I'm not using my own words. I don't usually do that, but when I saw the slightly mischevious look in the eye of the middle lady the Jethro Tull song 'Skating Away' just popped into my mind! :o)

Skating a-wa-a-y, skating a-wa-a-y
Staking a-wa-a-y, on the thin ice of a new da-a-y
-Jethro Tull

  1. Great tune - I love Tull!

And you're right, Mary - she DOES have a bit o' the devil in her eye!

  3. I thought the center one looked mischievous as well. Maybe she is the one related to Tess? :)

  9. I'm not familiar with the song, but the words fit. Yes, those appear to be clamp-on skates.

  10. Thank you Jingle!

Jim - It's a song by Jethro Tull, a band from the 70's, a fun, quirky song (IMO) here's where you can listen if you care to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTKu-L1b--
    Thanks for taking a peek!
