Microfiction Monday #67

I'm trying something new. Microfiction Monday. Write 140 characters or less about a picture that has been posted (although I suppose this is a mirocpoem). This week it's:

He felt as grey inside
as the fog that surrounded
him
as he waited at the bridge
with the anxious child

  1. Very mysterious. I wonder what they were waiting for? :O)

  2. There's a good intro... obviously there's differing emotional content between the man and the child as they're waiting for... ? Nicely done, Mary!

  3. I wonder what they were waiting for too...doesn't seem to be something happy, I think...as he felt 'grey inside'....
    Great imagery. Cheers~

  7. Sounds like foreshadowing of a poignant tale.

  8. I'd like to know what they were waiting for. Does top secret mean you'll share that in a longer story someday?

Hope you'll be joining in more MM.

  9. Thanks Grandma! I'm not sure yet about a longer story about what they're waiting for...as they haven't yet shared that with me! Um...stay tuned I guess.
I will definately do more MM however, this was fun :o)
