Other

I am the smooth surface of a pond
reflecting your image back to you.

I am the darkness
 around the stars in the night sky;
I am what you cannot see.

I am a pebble resting in a deep pocket,
smooth and inscrutable.

I am what remains.
I am other.

For G-man's FF55.

  10. You certainly are "Other" as indicated by your name. I celebrate your otherness. I want to wrap myself in your otherness. I want to immerse myself in your otherness. I am your "other" from another mother!

  11. Thank you Timoteo, welcome to the 'Other' side! And I'm old enough for the 'another mother' to remind me of an album by Dan Fogelberg, Twin Sons of Different Mothers. A happy memory for me :o)
